I am open to a wide range of collaborations. Maybe you are working with a builder or an architect, and just want to have a second set of eyes on the floorplan. Or you want me to curate your product palette or design the millwork for your home.
Are you a very talented homeowner, who wants to undertake your own renovation, but you need someone to come up with a coherent plan to make the most out of your space? Maybe you want to add me to your construction team as the design lead. I LOVE making old houses more efficient and bringing out their inherent beauty! And please don't hesitate to discuss the design of a custom home for you - I have worked on a number of different architectural styles, and love to develop homes that age gracefully and integrate into the land or the neighbourhood.
I am there for you - from small DIY projects all the way to making your dream house a reality.
Construction is messy, and the required million and one decisions can be overwhelming. Typically, I break that decision-making process down into small steps - I actually call it *homework* and - other than possibly school homework from times past - my clients love that process. I want you to feel in power. Creating or updating a home is a vulnerable process, where you open up your sanctuary and your wallet to other people, possibly strangers. You need to make sure you have a great team in place, whom you trust to make the best decisions for you, and who are capable to keep the communication with you and between each other fluid.
